The 2024 Bald Eagle Nest Watch season is right around the corner! We are now accepting new volunteers for the 2024 season, which will run from mid-February through early July. This is a great Citizen Science project managed through the Badgerland Bird Alliance, formerly Madison Audubon, which helps keep track of bald eagle success rates throughout the area. At the top of the food chain, bald eagles are great indicators of the overall health of the Fox River ecosystem, and are truly a majestic bird to watch.
