2021 Eagle Days Schedule is Announced!

1000 Islands Environmental Center invites you to join in on a celebration of eagles.

January 23, 2021 will be a day to celebrate the success of bald eagles throughout the Fox Valley area.  1000 Islands will be once again offering a day full of celebration at the Environmental Center with COVID-19 safe activities.  Explore the magnificence of our nation’s symbol through education and appreciation.

This free family event starts with a 7:00 AM early morning viewing opportunity in order to catch some of the peak eagle activity.  Other viewing opportunities and activities will take place throughout the day including virtual educational programs presented by the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, MN, a storybook walk on the boardwalk trail, eagle activity bags for children and other interested visitors to take home, free hot chocolate and more.  The day will finish off with another chance at peak eagle activity with a sunset viewing from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM. All Eagle Day activities will be held outdoors and via online for the live eagle presentation.

The Nature Center building will be closed, so please dress appropriately to stay warm and dry. We will have porta potties on-site and patio heaters will be in the Pavilion.
